Margie Duncan, 86, Altus, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Oklahoma City. A graveside committal of her cremated remains will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Martha Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Baker officiating. Services are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

She was born Margie Sue Shive to Hubert and Margaret (Skillman) Shive in Martha, Oklahoma on March 18, 1933. Margie graduated at Blair High School and married Sam Duncan in Lawton, Oklahoma on March 7, 1951. To this union three children were born. She was a loving wife and mother who was of the Christian Faith and a member of the Martha Road Baptist Church. Margie enjoyed reading, shopping, gardening, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Margaret Shive; her son, Tommy Duncan; and two brothers, Carlton and James Shive.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Duncan; her daughter, Deana Ladd and husband, Mike; her son, Steve Duncan and wife, Diana; five grandchildren, Alisa Roberts and husband, George; Samie Heney and husband, Josh; Lindsay Duncan; Laura Duncan and husband, Tyler Murry; Amy Weeks and husband, Chris; six great grandchildren, Jadyn Roberts; Caleb and Devin Heney; Paxon, Zayden and Sutton Weeks; her sister, Doris Duncan; and many friends.
