Maria Rosario Patlan

Maria del Rosario Patlan, 87, Vernon, Texas, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Wilbarger General Hospital in Vernon, Texas. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Monday evening at Kincannon Funeral Home in Altus, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Hess Cemetery, Jackson County, Oklahoma under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Maria del Rosario Patlan was born October 5, 1923 in Martindale, Texas to Roman and Francisca (Rios) Patlan. She was a homemaker who lived many years with her sister, Tomasa Solano, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, knitting and crocheting. Maria was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Luis, Benito and Victor Patlan; four sisters, Tomasa Solano, Jesusa Calderon, Benita DeLeon and Angelita Martinez. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
