Marion Jackson, 80, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Centennial Memorial Chapel at the Altus City Cemetery with Apostle Robert Jackson officiating. Inurnment will follow under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Marion Jackson was born on August 11, 1942 in Waxahachie, Texas to Ida Mae (Thomas) and Charles Jackson. He was raised in Texas. After graduation he moved to Seattle, Washington to work for Lockheed Pipefitters, later relocating to Altus. Marion served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He was a member of the Sprit of the Lord Equipping Center and enjoyed playing dominos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Mae and Charles; and siblings, Ollie Mae Wilson, Willie Maud Anderson, Charles ‘Charlie’ Jackson, Jr., Marilyn Jackson, Richard Jackson, Elizabeth McKeaver, and Ralph Jackson. He is survived by his brother, Robert Jackson and wife, Gwen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
