Marsha Jones

Marsha Jones, 73, Altus, formerly of Hollis, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 surrounded by her children and grandchildren at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in the Fairmount Cemetery, Hollis, with Rev. Tyler McDowell officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Marsha Graves was born on December 11, 1948 to O.D. “Slab” and Connie Graves of Hollis, Oklahoma. She was a former member of the Antioch Baptist Church and later became a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis. Marsha graduated from Arnett High School and continued her education at cosmetology school. Marsha had many successful years as a hairdresser in Hollis. She later continued her working career by opening her own clothing business. Marsha owned and operated Dawn’s Fashions for over 20 years in Hollis and Altus. Marsha loved fashion and clothing and enjoyed serving the community where she had made many lifelong friendships. Her true happiness was always found spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son, David Daren Jones and wife, Kristi, of Vinson; her daughter, Dawn Michelle Cargal and husband, Jud, of Blair; two grandchildren, Hunter Cargal and wife, Taylor, of Blair, and McKenna Block and husband, Braden, of Roosevelt; two great grandchildren, Dawson Cargal and Hallie Block, and another soon to be born, Darci Cargal; her brother, Perry Graves and wife, Roberta, of Blair; and many other nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, August 15, 2022 at the funeral home.
