Martha Ann Rodriguez

Martha Rodriguez, 64, Altus, passed away Monday morning at Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. Martha Ann (Matthews) Rodriguez was born May 4, 1948 to Virgil T. and Jewell M. (Maxwell) Matthews in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She attended school in Tipton, OK. She married Henry Espinosa Rodriguez in Altus, Oklahoma January 1, 1980. Martha was a homemaker and a caregiver. She loved to work on genealogy; reading Indian romance novels; and working puzzles. Martha was of the Christian faith. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; one son, David and two brothers Charles and Billy Joe. She is survived by five sisters, Virgie Stayton of Altus, OK; Carolyn Stewart of Wayne, OK; Aconia Allen of Altus, OK, Rosalinda Gonzales and husband Tony of McKinney, TX, Doretta Hayes of Altus, OK and one brother Frankie Barboa also of Altus, OK; five stepchildren; twenty five step grandchildren; thirty three step great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The Rodriguez family will host a visitation Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6pm to 8 pm at the Kincannon Gathering Room.
