Martin Rogelio Garcia

Martin Rogelio Garcia, 51, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, in Altus, Oklahoma. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. 

Martin was born on April 27, 1973, to Ramon and Maria G. (Gonzalez) Garcia in Weslaco, Texas. He was a truck driver for his brother’s trucking company, Jessie Martinez Truck Driving Company for many years. Prior to truck driving he worked for Bar-S Foods and Toys R Us. He enjoyed collecting antiques and was an avid coin collector. When he was not trucking or finding new coins to add to his collection he could be found reading his favorite comic collection, The Avengers. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Garcia and Ramon Garcia; brother, Juan Ramon Garcia; and niece, LauraLee Garcia. Martin is survived by his sisters, Yolanda Garcia and Tina Hughes and husband, Randy; brother, Jessie Martinez; and sisters-in-law, Mary Martinez and Cinthia Garcia; nieces and nephews, Elias Cantu, Jr. and wife, Alma, Ruby Cantu, Jr. Garcia and wife, Veronica, Pablo Gutierrez, Jr. and wife, Ayla, Sandra Edwards and husband, David, Jessie Lee Garcia, Juan Gutierrez and wife, Anna, Liliana Johnson and husband, James, Samantha Garcia, Jessie Martinez, Jr., Andrew Martinez, Daniel Garcia, Miranda Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Nadia Martinez, Jennifer Bazan, and Gorge Bazan, Jr.; and an abundance of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
