Mary Louise Hinton, 82, Altus, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Mary Louise Woods was born on October 26, 1935 in Dunn, Louisiana to Andrew D. and Myrtie Mae (Shell) Woods. She grew up in Dunn and graduated from Woodville High School. She married Ben Hinton on May 30, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio. Mary worked all of her life and managed the Love's Country Store on Main Street and the Days Inn for many years. She enjoyed reading, fishing and shopping. Her main joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, a daughter, Linda Trachman, and three sisters, Marie Utterson, Norma Woods and Peggy Gunter, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Raymond Woods; a daughter, Melinda Duke and husband, Robert; a son, Rodney Long and wife, Helene; a son-in-law, Mike Trachman; ten grandchildren, Steven Roppolo, Brandon Trachman, Mark Trachman, Rissa Trachman, Brooke Ringer and husband, Robert, Justin White, Robert Long and fiancée, Haley West, Vanessa Long, Zachary Cypert and Ezekiel Cypert; and seven great grandchildren, Kelli, Sydney, Ariana, Mackenzie, Carter, Kellan and Blakely.
