Mary Louise Edwards, 77, of Blair, OK, passed away early Friday morning, January 28, 2011 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Trinity Holiness Church (3 ½ miles of east of Blair) with Rev. Billy Ray Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Mary Louise Monroe was born on February 17, 1933 to Stanley and Lundy (Brooks) Monroe in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. Mary married Charles Newton Edwards on October 14, 1950 in Quanah, Texas. She was a member of the Trinity Holiness Church of Blair. She loved the family vacations in Red River, New Mexico, quilting, and her chickens. Mary enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her church family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles, two sons, Larry Marcie Edwards and Charles David Edwards, two granddaughters, Kendra Diane Edwards and Sandra Kay Harris, a sister, Lorine Monroe, and three brothers, Marvin Monroe, Clyde Monroe, and Ed Monroe. Mrs. Edwards is survived by two daughters, Becky Coffman and husband, Jim, of Ringling, OK, and Paula Harris and husband, Butch, of Fouke, Arkansas; three sons, Gary Brent Edwards and wife, Cheryl, of Blair, OK, James Leroy Edwards of Blair, OK, and Ronnie Steven Edwards and wife, Paula, of Blair, OK; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Edwards of Blair, OK; two sisters, Pauline Edwards George of Blair, OK, and Nell McGregor and husband, Jerry, of Lone Wolf, OK; a brother, Bill Monroe of Lone Wolf, OK; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. There will be a visitation for family and friends Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Trinity Holiness Church from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
