Mary Alice Myers

Mary Alice Myers, 80, Altus, passed away on June 26, 2021 at the English Village Manor. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, with Billy Norton officiating. Services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mary Alice Kuykendall was born on July 2, 1940 in Blair, Oklahoma to Charley and Vera A. (Southall) Kuykendall. She grew up in Blair and attended Blair schools. Mary married Larry Myers on September 2, 1980 in Vernon, Texas. Larry passed away on November 20, 2013. Mary was a homemaker most of her life. She was a part of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Disabled American Veterans and helped Larry with the various activities of the DAV. Mary was of the Christian faith, enjoyed traveling the Old Route 66 in Oklahoma and was a proud supporter of the Republican party. One of her most cherished memories was getting to see Wayne Newton in person.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her father, Charley Kuykendall, her mother, Vera A. Watson, a brother, George Crafton, a cousin, Terry Southall, and a nephew, Christopher Crafton, III.

Mary is survived by her two sisters, Willa May Snodgrass and Shirley Norton and husband, Darrell; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Kincannon Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday.
