Mary Joann Thompson, 57, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A private, family memorial service will be held at the Hess Cemetery. Cremation services are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Mary was born on July 5, 1964 in Altus, Oklahoma to Floyd and Nola (Surles) Trussler. She graduated from Altus High School and lived in Altus all her life. Mary loved to shop and to spend time with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed spoiling her faithful dog, Tigger.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nola Trussler.
Mary is survived by her children, DJ Thompson, Jessie Thompson and Jeffery Thompson and wife, Elizabeth Keese; grandchildren, MaKenzie Thompson, Brooklynn Thompson, Anthony Thompson, Zahara Tobar and Shane Tobar; brothers, Travis Trussler, Freddie Trussler and wife, Sharon, and Floyd Trussler; and many nieces and nephews.
