Mary Yolanda Romo “Mommio” Perez, 68, Altus, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at Kincannon Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Mary was born November 10, 1945 in Nueces County, Texas to Gabriel and Carmen (Yzaguirre) Romo. She attended schools in Texas and Altus, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who loved her family. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed music, Spanish soap operas, sewing, traveling and spending time with her family. Her beloved grandchildren called her “Mommio”. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Gabriel; her step father, Eclecerio Jaimes Martinez; a son, Alfonzo Jaimes Perez, Jr.; a brother, Jose Yzaguirre and an uncle, Willie Rangel. She is survived by her husband, Faustino Arzola of Altus, OK; daughter, Carmen Perez Azlin and husband, Charles, of Altus, Ok; three grandchildren, Olivia and fiancé, Jonathan Morin, Angelica and Alex Wiggins; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
