Mattie Faye Joiner

Mattie Faye Joiner, 70, Altus, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Mattie Faye Fuller was born on August 7, 1948 in Homer, Louisiana to Jessie and Hazel (Bishop) Fuller. She graduated high school and received her Associate's Degree in Computer Science. Mattie worked for Boeing (formerly McDonnell-Douglas) in Lakewood, California as a computer programmer for more than 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Carson, California. Mattie enjoyed cooking, watching basketball and reading books.

Her parents, sister, Sandra, brothers, Willie and Elmer Ray, niece, Jaketa, and nephew, Russell preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Juane Russell and husband, Jules; four grandchildren, Julian, Juane, Shayquan and Jukwan; six great grandchildren, JoDessa, Desselb, Rose, Renee, Noel and Dont’a; a brother, Robert Fuller and wife, Shelley; sister, Mabel Cooper; eight nieces and nephews, Jermaine, Emanuel, Kiara, Murphy, Omar, Jakara, Jalen and Chelsea; one
Aunt, Lillian Howard; special cousins, Honey, Frances, Helen, Sandra and Linda; special friends, Sheila, Carol, Deborah, Cherrie, Sandy, Alphonso, Jay, Connie and Margarette; and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
