Melissa Ann Revilla

Melissa Ann Revilla, longtime resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at OU Medical Center at the tender age of 45. The family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 29th at the funeral home. Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 30th in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ruben Ybarra officiating. Burial will immediately follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Melissa was born on March 30, 1979, in Hurst, Texas to David and Juanita (Salomon) Revilla. After her family relocated to Altus Melissa attended school there, graduating from Altus High School with the Class of 1997. Melissa worked in the food service industry most of her life, always with a smile but she was a homemaker by heart, raising her boys, Jordan, Abraham, and Austin. You could always find Melissa cooking, on a DIY craft project, dancing, or spoiling her nieces and nephews. Her more adventurous side included anything outdoors, especially boating, fishing, and riding ATVs. She was a faithful member of Strong Tower Ministries and even on her darkest days, held onto His promises in Jeremiah 29:11. 

Her grandparents, Abraham & Tomasa Revilla and Sabas & Paulina Salomon; and brother-in-law, Mario Enriquez preceded her in death. The many left to morn her passing and keep her memory alive are her father, David Revilla and wife, Carmen; mother, Juanita Revilla; sons, Jordan Revilla and wife, Kyla, Abraham Revilla and wife, Amy, and Austin Revilla; fiancé, Owen Risinger; siblings, David Revilla Jr., Alcario Revilla and wife, Sonya, Robert Revilla and wife, Melissa, Gracie Revilla, Stephanie Morgan and husband, Mobutu, Tiffany Cervantes and husband, Antonio, Carlos Revilla, Melissa Hernandez, and Joseph Hernandez; first grandbaby arriving in 2025; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins; and an abundance of friends.
