Michael "Mike" Reuter

Michael David “Mike” Reuter, 46, of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday evening, May 28, 2014 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2014 at Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Mick Mounce, Micah Welcher and Lionel Mounce officiating. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Michael David was born to David and Mary (Fouts) Reuter on March 13, 1968 in Houston, Texas. He married Tamara “Tammi” Huber on February 14, 2009 in Altus, Oklahoma. Mike was the current General Manager at Sonic in Altus and had worked there for the past twelve years. He was well liked by his employees. He was a member of the Highland Heights United Methodist Church, the Tornado Alley Road Riders and the Patriot Guard Riders. His hobbies included watching NASCAR, Houston baseball, Thunder basketball, OU and Houston football, and working at the Altus Speedway. Most of all he enjoyed bowling, camping, and riding motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, and a soon to be grandfather. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister -in-law, Jeff and Jennifer Reuter. Mike is survived by his wife, Tammi, of the home; his parents, David and Mary Reuter of Altus, Oklahoma; three daughters, Mikayla Reuter, Mikendell Reuter, Kristi Walbeck and fiancé, Cameron Hicks, all of Altus, Oklahoma; two sons, Mikail Reuter of Altus, Oklahoma and Cody Walbeck and girlfriend, Sydney Pople, of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Mark Reuter and wife, Rhonda, of Altus, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Madeline Reuter of Spencer, Iowa; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dick and Jeannie Huber of Altus, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, P.J. Woods and her husband, James, of Altus, Oklahoma; eight nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Reuter, Hailey Bohnstedt, Jordan Reuter, Avery Reuter, Keagan Reuter, Dusty Boucher, Nina Boucher, and Ian Dahrling Reuter ; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. The family will host a visitation for family and friends from 3:00 -5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Kincannon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s name to Tamara Reuter (The Reuter Family for Mike) c/o Shamrock Bank. Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin’ to the North.
