Mike Kyle Frederick

Mike Kyle Frederick, 39, Altus, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the Kincannon Gathering Room. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Lone Star Cemetery near Rocky, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Mike was born on February 18, 1976 in Altus, Oklahoma to Ronnie and Joyce (Bullock) Frederick. He graduated from Navajo High School with the class of 1995. Mike served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Tucson, Arizona and Hampton, Virginia. While in the Air Force he was Air Force wide Airman of the Year, Airman of the Quarter, and twice nominated for Physical Therapy Apprentice of the Year. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, cooking, fishing, and spending time outdoors. His paternal grandfather, Lonnie Frederick, and maternal grandparents, Odis and Velma Bullock, preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Joyce Frederick of Altus, OK; two sisters, Stephanie Frederick and husband, Michael Kuhnle, of Hyde Park, VT and Stacie Frederick and significant other, Cary Meyer, of South Burlington, VT; paternal grandmother, Violet Frederick Guida of Temecula, CA; a niece, Chesney Choate of Seminole, OK; a nephew, Max Frederick Kuhnle of Hyde Park, VT; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
