Mona McDow, 57, Altus, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Monty Montgomery officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Mona Montgomery was born on January 30, 1960 at Fort Stewart, Georgia to Dale and Marietta (Williams) Montgomery. She married Randy McDow in Clinton, Oklahoma on March 20, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ. Mona enjoyed fishing, reading, listening to music and quilting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her pets.
Her father, Dale Montgomery, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jessie and Delma McDow, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Randy, of the home; a son, Timothy McDow and wife, Patricia; a daughter, Brenna Byers and husband, Ian; four grandchildren, Austin, Waylin and Logan McDow, and Levi Byers; her mother, Marietta Montgomery; a brother, Monty Montgomery and wife, Tracy; and a special cousin that she considered a sister, Dede Jarvis.
