Moses “Mo” Perez, 55, Altus, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at his home. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Moses Perez was born on December 27, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas to Pedro Lopez Perez and Celia (Solano) Perez. He grew up in San Antonio, graduated high school and attended Palo Alto College. Moses played semi-pro football for the San Antonio Stallions for a short time. He married Elaine Marceleno on July 12, 1993 in San Antonio. They moved to Altus where he worked in construction as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. Moses also worked for the City of Altus as a Journeyman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Altus, and enjoyed spending time with his family and going to Colorado. Moses was a movie buff, a foodie, and enjoyed all types of music. He was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos.
His mother, Celia; five brothers, Eddie, Albert, Pete, Rudy, and Danny; a sister-in-law, Patricia Perez; and a brother-in-law, John Ford; preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; father, Pedro Perez; brothers, Frank, Johnny, Paul, David, Ely, and Richard; sisters, Sally, Ruth, Emelia, Sylvia, and Mary Lou; brothers-in-law, Randy Marceleno, CMSgt (Retired) Paul Duit, Darryl Wimberley, and Joe Lopez; sisters-in-law, Cynthia Ann Duit and Brandi Perez; and many other family members and friends.
