Myrtle Marie Brumley, 89, Altus, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 in Owasso, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Altus City Cemetery with Pastor Nathan Brumley officiating. Services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Myrtle Marie Ingram was born on May 2, 1933 in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma to Clifton
Elfonzo and Nellie Mae (Stokes) Ingram. She attended school in Asher and graduated with the
class of 1951. Myrtle married Otis Leon Brumley on October 15, 1951 in Ada, Oklahoma. She
worked hard raising her kids and taking care of her family. Myrtle was an active member of the
Southside Baptist Church. She moved to Owasso, OK in 2011 becoming a resident at Baptist Village. She attended First Baptist Church of Owasso.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six siblings, Alvin, Doyle, Katherine, Laverine, OJ, and Robert.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Brumley and wife, Debbie, of Owasso, and Roger Brumley and wife, Pam, of St. Joseph, MO; five grandchildren, Sarah Stout and husband, Craig, of Owasso, Nathan Brumley and wife, Brooke, of Wewoka, Berrik Brumley and wife, Rachel, of Jacksonville, AR, Cody Brumley and wife, Breanna, of Little Rock, AR, and Keeva O’Mealey and husband, Matthew, of Des Moines, IA; twelve great-grandchildren, Ryan, Levi, Noah, Lexi, Drew, Griffith, Beatrice, Charlotte, Walker, Judah, Valor, and Asa; three brothers, Claude Ingram and wife, Charlotte, Edward Ingram and wife, Linda, and Glenn Ingram and wife, Sandy; and a sister-in-law, Lavern Kirby.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 14, at the funeral home.
