Myrtle Mae Eubank, 92, former Altus resident, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 27, 2021 in the Belton Cemetery, Belton, Missouri, under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.
Myrtle Mae Seay was born on October 17, 1928 in Elmer, Oklahoma to William Boyd and Elnora (Schmidt) Seay. She attended school in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Cache High School in Cache, Oklahoma. Myrtle married Elmer Lee Eubank in 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as an accountant for Dodson Insurance Exchange for many years before retiring. Myrtle was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Altus, Oklahoma where she was active in the United Methodist Women. Myrtle loved to volunteer. She worked with Department of Corrections women and taught them how to read. She even received the Senior Woman of the Year Award for her DOC work for which brought her joy to help change their lives. She also gave to those in need and refurbished dolls for the ACMI House. Myrtle was a member of the Democratic Women and the Silver Belles. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and cooking, especially her famous chicken and noodles.
Her husband, parents, a sister, Ellen Tudor, and two brothers, Bill and Frank Seay, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Joyce Espiricueta, Juanita Lynn Eubank, and Cynthia Ann Maso and husband, Maher; a son, Virgil Lee Eubank and wife, Terry; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
