Nathan Hocker, 43, Altus, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Elmer Methodist Church with Mark Haught officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Hess Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Nathan Hocker was born on January 10, 1970 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William James and Barbara (Osburn) Hocker. He grew up and graduated from the Southside School. He worked for many years as a general manager for Long John Silver’s and Whataburger. One of his greatest accomplishments was that he was sober for 13 years and clean for 20 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His father, a granddaughter, Syndle, and a brother, Tracey, preceded him in death. Survivors include three sons, Colt Hocker and wife, Stormie, of Altus, OK, Cody Hocker of Altus, OK, and Chris Garrison and wife, Shelli, of Liberal, KS; a daughter, Aubrey Hamilton of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Jayden, Ayden, Chloe and Karley; his mother, Barbara Hocker of Altus, OK; three brothers, Kim Hocker and wife, Cynthia, of Andover, KS, George Hocker and wife, KiSun, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jesse Hocker and wife, Kimmie, of Arkansas City, KS; two sisters, Tami Butler and husband, Kirk, of Elmer, OK and Dorothy Butler and husband, Ken, of Elmer, OK; a sister-in-law, Beverly Hocker of Terrell, TX; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
