Neta June Terry

Neta June Terry, 80, of Eldorado, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Eldorado Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Neta was born December 27, 1931 to Upton and Thelma Neta (Crelia) Mitchell at Eldorado, Oklahoma. She graduated from Eldorado High School. She married W.A. Terry, Jr. on March 11, 1951 at the Hi- Point Methodist Church in Eldorado, OK. To this union two daughters were born. She worked as a billing clerk at the City Hall in Eldorado, OK since 1987. Nita loved to crochet and read in her spare time. She was a member of the Eldorado United Methodist Church. She played piano in churches for over 65 years. Neta is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Kenneth, and sister-in-law, Boo Mitchell. She is lovingly survived by two daughters, Zelma Kirby and husband, Terry, of Eldorado, OK and Lillie Emberling and husband, Richard, of Lone Grove, OK; four grandchildren, Neta Kirby and Randy of Eldorado, OK, Shelly Jennings and Ryan of Healdton, OK, James Kirby and Jacqueline of Eldorado, OK, and Jeremy Emberling of Lafayette, LA; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Brady, Jayden, Kason, Maddox, Madison, John, and Natalie; an aunt, Aubrey Langston of Marietta, OK; an adopted daughter, Patricia Vasquez of Eldorado, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The Terry family will greet friends 4 pm to 6 pm Sunday afternoon at the Kincannon Eldorado Chapel.
