Nina Mae Jones

Nina Mae Jones, 78, Altus, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Page officiating. Interment will follow at the Prairie Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Nina was born to John Wesley and Frances Irene (Harnish) Caudell on December 4, 1932 in Olustee, OK. She grew up and graduated from Olustee High School. She married Ivan K. Jones on June 30, 1956 in Vernon, TX. She was an awesome homemaker and mother, loved family gatherings and socializing with friends. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Altus, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, J.W. Caudell. She is survived by her husband of the home; a daughter, Linda Corey and husband, Flint, of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, Gary Jones and wife, Annette, of Altus, and Michael D. Jones of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Brittany Greene and husband, James, of Germany; and Kristen Jones of Altus, OK; and one great-granddaughter, Alexis. The Jones Family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
