Nina Jean Rader, 87, passed away at home Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Oklahoma City. Memorial services have been scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at the Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. Cremation and Memorial services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Jean was born April 24, 1931 to Ezra William and Linnie May (Frisby) Fisk in Liberal, KS. Her family later moved to Dalhart, TX where she graduated from high school in 1949 and then attended business school. She was a military wife and a homemaker as well as a seamstress at Janet’s in Altus for several years. Jean was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and cooking. She cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert “Bob” Fisk and Lloyd Fisk.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Melvin, and their children, David W. Rader and wife, Susan, of Yukon, OK, Brenda J. Robinson and her husband, Tim, of Salem, OR, Denise G. Williams and her husband, Darryll, of Oklahoma City, OK, and Brian J. Rader and wife, Patti, of San Angelo, TX; 38 grandchildren, greats and great greats. Also, Jean’s surviving siblings are Joyce Ann Dove and husband, Roy, of Haslet, TX and Ray Dean Fisk and wife, Nancy, of Big Sandy, TX.
