Nola Lee Farrar was born to William Lois and Iva Grace (Frazier) Farrar on June 19, 1921 in Sherman, Texas. Her family moved to the Snyder area where she attended schools until the 8th grade. They were devoted church members at the Tipton First Baptist Church until their move to Altus, due to poor health. Nola devoted all her life to working various jobs.
