Odessia Flossie Landers, 98, Altus, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Magnolia Creek Skilled Nursing and Therapy. Private family services will be held at a later date in the Hess Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Odessia Flossie Ensey was born on June 15, 1922 in Odell, Texas to Thomas Williams Givens and Mannie (Crownover) Ensey. She attended school in Odell and married Eldred Landers on July 2, 1945 in Love County, Texas. Odessia worked as a homemaker all of her life and she enjoyed farming and arts and crafts. She was a member of the Assembly of God church. Odessia’s most favorite time of the year was Christmas time. She loved putting lights all over her house, South of Altus, during the holiday. It seemed appropriate that the Lord took her during Christmas. She will be deeply missed.
Her parents, husband, a son, Dale Landers, a granddaughter, Crissey Crouch, a daughter-in-law, Diane Landers, and three siblings preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Glenda Crouch and husband, Ricky; a son, James Landers; eight grandchildren, Amy Landers Holt, Tanya Landers Croft, Justin Landers, Jamie Landers Everett, Shandyl Landers English, Tephanie Crouch Carman, Tabitha Crouch Warren and R. Tatum Crouch; a brother, Dawson Ensey; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
