Ouida M. Turner Leese

Ouida Maude Turner Leese, 87, formerly of Eldorado, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in Hurst, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe, TX under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Ouida Maude Turner was born to Horace and Hattie (Ross) Turner in Odell, Texas on August 18, 1929. Mrs. Leese graduated from Chillicothe High School and went to college at Abilene Christian University. She married Billy Ray Leese on Oct. 11, 1947 in Chillicothe, TX. She and her family lived in Eldorado, OK for many years where they farmed and ranched. The family moved to Lubbock, TX where she and her husband were owners of the Farmers and Ranchers Livestock Auction. Mrs. Leese lived several years in Abilene, TX and then moved to the Fort Worth, TX area and lived in an assisted living facility until her passing. She was a dedicated Christian, a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and a remarkable Mother.

Ouida is survived by two daughters, Cathy Leese McLeod and husband, Don, and Carol Ann Middleton; a son, Robert Leese and wife, Alice; grandchildren, Todd McLeod, Carrie McLeod King, Lauren McLeod Deveny, Leese Ann Middleton, Matthew Middleton, Laura Leese Nance and Elizabeth Leese Hendershot; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Jo Etter; a sister in law, Nina Turner; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
