Patricia "Pat" Jane Lewis, 89, of Altus, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away from this life on Sunday, June 23, 2024. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 27th, at Kincannon Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28th, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Buriel will immediately follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Pat was born on February 16, 1935, to Lauretta Mable (Johnson) and Raymond Harold Deer in Brookfield, Missouri. She graduated from Brookfield High School and was part of the Class of 1953. Pat and William Ronald “Bill” Lewis were united in marriage on July 8, 1953, in Brookfield. To this union three children were born, Marsha Denice, William Bryan “Bill”, and Michael Anthony. During Bill’s military career they moved to Altus where they became members of the First United Methodist Church. Pat enjoyed playing music on the piano, organ, and clarinet, as well as crocheting.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Bill; parents, Raymond and Lauretta; son, Michael; sister, Wanda Baker; son in-law, Ricky Brewer; brother in-law, Ross Baker; grand-daughter, Amy Nucci; and in-laws, Bill and Doris Lewis; Eunice Reed; sister in-law, Doris Jean Mosley and husband, JD.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Marsha Brewer; son, Bill Lewis and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Ryan Lewis and wife, Mindy, Michelle Bain and husband, Jantz, Chris Brewer and wife, Lacey, Lindsey Ballard, and Michael Kyle Lewis; great-grandchildren, Brayden Brewer and wife, Justine, Baileigh Vial and husband, Rob, Lauren Guderyon and husband, Josh, Jayla Jordan and husband, Chad, Canyon Bain, Austin Mackey and wife, Dakota, Jordan Mackey and wife, Dani, Kayden Mackey, Bryson Davis, Makenna Casey, Rylan Lewis, Madison Ballard, Brooke Ballard, and Liam Lewis; great-great-grandchildren, Blakely Brewer, Grayson Brewer, Byrdie Guderyon, Presley Mackey, and Maverick Mackey; brother in-law, Bill Lewis and wife, Sarah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.
