Phillip Lynn Davis

Phillip Lynn Davis, 65, Duke, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at his home. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, September 30, 2013 at the Rock Cemetery with Chaplain Erin Martinez officiating. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Phillip was born on July 21, 1948 to Paul W. and Sara (Anderson) Davis in Altus, Oklahoma. He attended Duke High School and graduated with the class of 1966, and continued his education at the OSU Vo Tech in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Phillip married Linda Moody July 23, 1974 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was a farmer most of his adult life. Phillip was of the Christian faith, loved his horses, dancing and bailing hay. He loved to spend time with his family and watch his grandchildren ride their dirt bikes and four wheelers behind his house. He was preceded in death by his mother, his grandparents, Alma and Fred Davis, a stepson, Michael Womack, a brother, Charles Davis, and a sister, Jeanette Atkinson. Survivors include his father, Paul Davis of Duke, OK; daughter, April Dayton and husband, Darin, of Duke, OK; two stepsons, Alan Womack and wife, Rana, of Duke, OK and Jimmy Womack and wife, Jaime, of Norman, OK; two grandchildren, Skyler and Breanna Dayton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
