Raul Garcia

Raul T. Garcia, known by all as Rudy, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital at the age of 68. Rudy will by lying in state 8:00 am – 8:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday, January 6th and 7th. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8th, with Pastor Richard Reyes officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service. 

Rudy was born March 30, 1956, in Phoenix, Arizona to Perfecto and Ignacia (Treveno) Garcia. They made their way to Oklahoma in 1960, and Rudy and his 14 siblings were raised in southwest Oklahoma. After attending school in Olustee Rudy married Naomi Lopez on October 22, 1982. Together they raised three children, Rudy Eugene, Terry, and Crystal Dawn. Rudy’s grandest treasures were his family. He was the family jokester and loved to collect antiques.

Rudy worked most of his adult life in concrete construction but at heart, he was a musician. As an avid accordionist, and bass guitar player, Rudy was in his natural element. In their retirement, Rudy was always eager to set up Naomi’s musical sets for her vocal performances. 

His parents, Perfecto and Ignacia; six brothers; and three sisters preceded him in death. Rudy’s warm and jovial spirit will live on in his wife of 42 years, Naomi; children, Rudy Eugene Garcia, Terry Garcia and wife, Heather, and Crystal Dawn Garcia; 22 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Perfecto Garcia, Ruben Garcia, and Robert Garcia; sisters, Mary Lou Guerrero and Lilly Wolfe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
