Raymundo Javier Peralta, 65, Altus, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. A memorial reception will be from 12:00 – 4:30 PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Raymundo Javier Peralta was born on January 6, 1956 in Mexico City, Mexico to Jose Peralta and Margarita Morales. He grew up in Mexico and married Dora Valdez on September 24, 1980 in Mexico City. The family moved to Altus and Raymundo worked for Bar-S, retiring after 20 years. He enjoyed playing and watching soccer. Raymundo loved spending time with his family and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Survivors include his wife, Dora, of the home; four children, Emmanuel Peralta, Josue Peralta, Edher Peralta and partner, Araceli Aguinaga, and Grecia Peralta; two granddaughters, Ariel and Penelope Peralta; a sister, Celia Peralta; a brother, Alfredo Peralta; and many other family members and friends.
