Reda Jean Crouch, 74, Elmer, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Dr. Roy McDaniel, Pastor Rick Crouch and Rev. Tom Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Francis Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Reda Jean Raulston was born on November 3, 1939 to George Farris and Bessie I. (Argo) Raulston in Clarksville, Texas. Reda and Harold W. Crouch were united marriage on June 29, 1973 at the Southside Baptist Church in Altus, OK. Jean was a good and faithful Christian woman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hess, OK and taught Sunday School for many years. Jean worked as a homemaker and also as a waitress. In the last few years she worked as a caregiver for many people. She was an avid cookbook collector and enjoyed making Christmas candy. She loved to spend her time reading and growing flowers. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; three brothers and three sisters. Jean leaves behind three daughters; Kathy Phillips and husband, Jerry, of Granite Shoals, TX, Wanda Carpenter and husband, Wayne, of Duke, OK, and Debbie Holt and husband, James, of Tyler, TX; five sons, Ricky Crouch and wife, Glenda of Eldorado, OK, Farris Berryhill and wife, Janice, of Altus, OK, Steven Ray Berryhill and wife, Sherry, of Soper, OK, Danny Berryhill and wife, Terri, of Gore, OK and David Crouch and wife, Robin, of Tyler, TX; two sister-in-laws, Patsy Raulston of Lexington, TX and Audrey Raulston of Mesquite, TX; twenty four grandchildren; forty two great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Jean also leaves behind three special friends, Teresa Sellers of Altus, OK, Janetta Brown of Elmer, OK and Terrie Dawn Berryhill of Altus, OK. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes in Jean’s name, 4704 N.W. Motif Manor, Suite 3, Lawton, OK, 73505. Additional parking for the service is available behind the funeral home, Best Western to the South or Western Sizzlin’ to the North.
