Rhonda Kay Montgomery

Rhonda Kay “Sissy” Montgomery, 59, passed away, Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Ricky Crouch officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery in Mangum, Oklahoma under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Rhonda Kay Kitchen was born to W.W. “PeeWee” and Jewel (Stallings) Kitchen on January 11, 1955 in Hollis, OK. She attended Hollis schools and graduated from Arnett in 1973. Rhonda and Neil Montgomery were united in marriage on August 24, 1974 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She attended M.A.M.S. School of Health Careers and obtained her certification as a Lab X-Ray Technologist. She worked at Altus Integris Medical Clinic in the Lab for 30 years. Rhonda was a member of the Duke Church of Christ. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, and attending kid’s softball games. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family with whom she was lovingly known as “Nana”. Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Micah Shane Montgomery; a sister, Sandra Montague; and half sister, Loretta Wadlow. She is survived by her husband, Neil, of the home; one daughter, Chanda Miranda and husband, Casey, of Duke, OK; one grandchild, Kylie Te’Neil Miranda; three brothers, Donnie Kitchen and wife, Colleen, of Yukon, OK; Ronnie Kitchen and Faron Kitchen, both of Hollis, OK; a sister, Kathi Cooper; as well as several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and coworkers.
