Rhonda Klapper

Rhonda Klapper, 59, Childress, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2012, south of Eldorado, Oklahoma. Family Celebration of Life services were held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Baylor Lake in Childress. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Rhonda was born on May 21, 1953 in Memphis, Texas to Herschel and Shirley (McBee) Chaney. She graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California. She married Gene Klapper in Childress, Texas in 1995. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Rhonda loved arts and crafts, her kids and her grandkids. Her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Gene, of the home; four sons, Eric Hmielewski and wife, Rachael, of Amarillo, Texas, Joel Hmielewski of Childress, Texas, Alex English of California, and Dylan Dodge and wife, Kaci, of Missouri; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild; and two sisters, Donna and husband, Ben, and Tammi and husband, Jason, all of California.
