Robert J. Weirich

Robert J. Weirich, 69, Altus, went home to be with his Father on Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Oklahoma City. Private family services will take place at a later date. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Robert J. Weirich was born on October 24, 1941 in Avilla, Indiana. He served in the US Army from February of 1961 until March of 1977. He served in the 173rd Airborne Division and had three tours to Vietnam. He married Dottie Weirich on March 31, 1968 in El Paso, Texas. He enjoyed his time here on earth. He will be deeply missed but will live in our hearts forever. Survivors include his wife of the home; three sons, Robert Weirich, Jr., Donald Weirich and Richard Weirich; and his granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send memorial contributions to the Altus Animal Shelter, 2200 Enterprise Drive, Altus, Oklahoma 73521.
