Robert "Bob" Reid, 82, Altus, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Memorial services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Player officiating. Services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Robert Bruce Reid was born on July 29, 1935 to Bruce and Myra (Bullis) Reid in Pontiac, Michigan. He attended school and graduated in Michigan. Bob and Joanne Barnum were united in marriage on October 30, 1963 in Unadilla, Michigan. He served his country in the United States Air Force. Bob was known for being the "Cornwell guy" for many years selling to local shops and acquiring many friends during this period in his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where he belonged to the United Methodist Men. He was also a band parent. Bob enjoyed making model airplanes and was a member of the Model Airplane Club. His other hobbies included carpentry, cooking and gardening. His love for his wife and family was always the top priority in his life. Spending time with his family was always the greatest joy for him.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Joanne, of the home; daughters, Karrie Paine and husband, Wray, and Reenie Schulz and husband Mike; grandchildren, Caleb, Austin, and Michael Paine, Ben Schulz and wife, Emily, and Abby Schulz. He also leaves behind a host of friends he acquired over the years.
