Roberta Huffer

Roberta Huffer, 80, Altus, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the English Village Manor. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Kincannon Funeral Home. Services have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home. Roberta Coates was born on May 17, 1934 in Hailey, Idaho to Robert and Carroll (Williams) Coates. She married Billy G. Huffer on September 19, 1954 in San Francisco, California. She and her husband owned and operated Ye Olde Donut Shoppe for more than thirty years. She was involved with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts when her children were younger. She was also a member of the PTA. Roberta enjoyed gardening, crafting, reading, baking, and playing games. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Roberta was a member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ. Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy G. Huffer; daughter, Yvonne S. Garland; and granddaughter, Robin Garland. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Barnes and husband, Beau, and June Wagnon, all of Lawton, OK; a son, Robert Huffer and wife, Sylvia, of Texas; eight grandchildren, Erica Garland of California, Jason Wagnon of Oklahoma City, OK, Jennifer Wagnon of Lawton, OK, Breanna Wagnon of Edmond, OK, Dr. Cody Barnes of Missouri, Dr. Jon Barnes of Oklahoma City, OK, and Trevor Huffer and Brandyn Huffer, both of Texas; two great-grandchildren, Jason, Jr. and Jordyn. She also leaves a brother, Lamont Lovejoy and wife, Donna, of Idaho and a sister, Marcia Kriley and husband, Pat, of Idaho. Memorials may be made in Roberta's name to the Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
