Roderick L. Marcha

Rod L. Marcha, 60, Moore, passed away early Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Altus with Rev. Bruce Davis officiating. A private family inurnment of Rod's cremated remains will take place at a later date. Services are under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Roderick Lyle Marcha was born June 19, 1959 at Fort Dix, NJ, in the Army Hospital to John and Betty ( Selvey) Marcha. He attended Altus Public Schools and graduated Altus High School with the Class of 1977. Rod continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, earning a degree in Music Education. While at school he was a member of the TKE national fraternity. Rod spent his life nurturing his love of music and finished a great career at Ford Audio Video in Oklahoma City where his passion for quality music and video flourished.
Rod is survived by his parents, John and Betty Marcha of Altus, OK; brothers, Phillip Marcha and wife, April of Lone Wolf, OK; Scott Marcha of Smyrna, TN; Dennis Marcha and wife, Amber of Guthrie, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the McDowell Club of Allied Arts of Altus, Oklahoma - Rod Marcha Scholarship Fund c/o James Bayers, 220 Paseo De Vida, Altus, Ok 73521 The Marcha family will greet friends Tuesday morning from 10 am until 11 am when the service starts.
