Rodger Dean Clark, 40, Altus, passed away at his home, Saturday, January 21, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home. Rodger Dean Clark was born June 24, 1971, to Alfred Lee and Shirley (Duke) Clark in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Altus Schools and Northwest Classen in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He and Mary Risinger were married on May 21, 2010 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rodger worked as a roughneck in the oilfield for Frank’s Tong Service out of Oklahoma City, OK. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus. Rodger enjoyed fishing, old cars, grilling, and spending time with his kids. He is preceded in death by his father. Rodger leaves behind his wife; two daughters, Elizabeth Risinger and Lilly Clark, both of Altus, OK; three sons, Tyler Clark of Altus, OK, and Damon Clark and Zachary Clark, both of Noble, OK; his mother, Shirley Welch, of Altus, OK; six brothers, Alfred Leroy Clark of Oklahoma City, OK, Andrew Welch and wife, Pamela, of Olustee, OK, David Welch and wife, JoAnna, of Blair, OK, James Welch and wife, Nicole, Jacob and Junior Welch, all of Altus, OK; four sisters, Debbie Moreno, Brenda Herrera, and Sherri Ramirez, all of Oklahoma City, OK, and Maggie Miller and boyfriend, Danny, of Wilburton, OK; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The Clark family will greet friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Kincannon Funeral Home.
