Ronald Ira Durall, 59, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at his home in Blair, Oklahoma. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, January 18, 2016, at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Doug Altom officiating. Burial will follow at the Veterans' Section of the Altus City Cemetery at a later date.
Ronald Ira Durall was born March 20, 1956, to Roy Lawrence and Clara B. Stringer Durall in Hutchinson, Kansas. He graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Ronald and Ruth M. Durall were united in marriage on May 6, 1978, in Longville, Minnesota. To this marriage two children were born. He served in the United States Air Force from April 1975 to February 1994. He then owned and operated RID Pest Control for over 20 years. Ronald was a member of the First Baptist Church, Altus, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting and camping.
He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Lawrence Durall, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doyle and Addline Underhill.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Ruth, of the home; a daughter, Melissa Rhodd, and husband Sam of Martha,OK; a son, Scott Durall of Altus; his mother, Clara Durall; Sister Gwenda Valentine, and husband Larry, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sister Donna Teague, and husband Samuel of Mesa, Arizona; and grandson Corbin Rhodd Martha, OK.
The Durall family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2015, at Kincannon Funeral Home.
