Ronald N. Hanson, 77, Altus, passed away at his home Wednesday, November 21, 2018. The Hanson family will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Ronald Hanson was born on March 5, 1941 to Harold and Marion (Jenson) Hanson in Baldwin, Wisconsin. He graduated high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after twenty years as a Chief Master Sergeant. He continued working in the Civil Service at Altus Air Force Base as a parts inventory supervisor and retired after 20 years in 2005.
Ronald and Marilyn Phillips were united in marriage on November 9, 2003 in Vernon, Texas. Ronald was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoyed the Dallas Stars, all types of TV sports, doing yard work and traveling. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn, of the home; a son, Bill Cobb; a daughter, Ginger Taulbee; and three grandchildren, Haley Cobb, Mikaylynn and Skyler Taulbee.
