Rosa Trevino, 65, Altus, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Plantation Village Nursing Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with her son, Dio Gloria, officiating. Burial will follow services at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Rosa Orus Gloria was born on May 3, 1953 in Eden, Texas to Jose and Dominga (Martinez) Gloria. She attended schools in San Angelo, Texas, Southside and Altus, Oklahoma. Rosa and Roberto Trevino were united in marriage on October 5, 1985 in Lubbock, Texas. Rosa had worked with her husband for many years on the Joe Kelly and Wayne Snodgrass Farms. She later worked at English Village Manor as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Rosa was a member of the Healing Water Ministries, where she enjoyed going to church and participating in church activities. Rosa was a very good cook and took great care tending to her numerous house plants and garden. Her true love in life was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roberto; daughter, Roxanna Smith; sisters, Josefina, Mary and Juanita; and brothers, Florentino, Jesus, Edward, Richard, Raymond and Paul Gloria.
She is survived by two sons, Dio Gloria and wife, Ramona, and Jose Trevino; five grandchildren, Heaven Gloria, Zachariah Gloria, Rebecca Gonzales, Isabelle Gloria and Tatyana Trevino; one sister, Erlinda Hernandez; and many friends.
The Trevino family will greet friends at the Kincannon Gathering Room, Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
