Roy Evert Duff, Jr., 89, passed away peacefully with family by his side February 14, 2024, in Altus, Oklahoma. The family will be receiving friends and family for a visitation from 12:00-2:00 PM February 19, 2024, at the Kincannon Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at the Martha Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Roy was born on December 21, 1934, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Roy E. Duff, Sr. and Modene (Marrs) Duff-Coulter. Mr. Duff attended Tulsa Central High School, graduating in 1953. During his years of High School, he was an eagle scout and was involved in many sports. After graduating High School, he attended Tulsa University and Oklahoma University, graduating in 1957 with his degree in accounting. Throughout his years he was able to become a well-known Licensed Public Accountant and Real Estate Broker. He met the love of his life, Carolyn Ann (Duncan) Duff, and they were united in marriage on November 6, 1992. They spent 31 wonderful years together, but their favorite hobby together was rooting for the Oklahoma Sooners during their sporting events. They were active members and attended First United Methodist Church in Altus, Oklahoma together.
Roy left behind the love of his life, Carolyn Duff of the home; daughters, Kimberly Colvin and husband, Danny of Edmond, Julia Duff and partner, Susie Southwell of Oklahoma City, Kendre Ball and husband, Anthony of Luther, Stacy Humbert and husband, Jeremy of Wisconsin; as well as 10 grandchildren whom he loved very dearly. Roy is proceeded in death by his late father, Roy Duff, Sr.; his late mother, Modene Duff-Coulter; and his late stepfather, Tom Coulter.
