Ruth Swanson, 78, passed away at her home in Altus on April 26, 2020. A private family service will take place at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Ruth Ellen Swanson was born April 28, 1941 to Eva (Linden) Williams in Orlando, Oklahoma. She graduated from Guthrie High School and attended Western Oklahoma State College for two years. She was a homemaker her entire life. Ruth was a member of the Church of God - Evening Light. Ruth loved God and her family. She enjoyed listening to all music, reading and appreciating natures' paintbrush.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind one daughter, Kelly Swanson and a sister, Lois Strate.
