Ryan Nicholas Weatherford

Ryan Nicholas Weatherford, 30, long-time resident of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025. A Private Funeral Service was held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5th, in the Kincannon Memorial Chapel in Altus, Oklahoma with Pastor Daniel Ingram officiating. Burial immediately followed at the Altus City Cemetery. 

Ryan, born on September 5, 1994, to Steve and Kathy (Pence) Weatherford in Altus, was a young man with a heart full of creativity and passion. From an early age, Ryan displayed a remarkable talent for art, creating beautiful pieces that reflected his love for those around him. His artistic spirit touched many, as he dedicated much of his time to crafting thoughtful, personal artwork for those he cherished. A lover of technology, Ryan spent countless hours playing video games and exploring the intricacies of computers. His curiosity and drive led him to Grand Canyon University, where he was a dedicated student, pursuing his degree with enthusiasm and determination. During his time in college, Ryan discovered a new passion for cooking, and he became known for preparing extravagant meals that reflected his generosity and love. He poured his heart into every dish, often sharing them with family and friends as a way of expressing his affection. Ryan was an active member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ in Altus, Oklahoma, where he grew up surrounded by a supportive and loving community. His faith, kindness, and warm spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, Ryan’s legacy of love, creativity, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Left to remember the legacy of Ryan are his children, Avery Braun, Liam Sharp, and T.J. Weatherford; father, Steve Weatherford; mother, Kathy (Pence) Weatherford; and sister, Kaytlyn Weatherford.
