Sabrina Von Wert

Sabrina C. Von Wert, 52, Altus, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 21, 2013. A memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Altus City Cemetery. Cremation services have been entrusted to the Kincannon Funeral Home. Sabrina C. Allen was born on June 2, 1961 to Floyd E. and Helen P. (Hatfield) Allen in Altus, Oklahoma. She graduated from Altus High School with the class of 1979 and attended Western Oklahoma State College. She was a homemaker and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus. Sabrina loved crocheting, scrapbooking, quilting, reading, and most of all, spending time with family. Sabrina is preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Floyd Allen, her son, Michael J. Von Wert, paternal grandparents, Jasper and Labertha Allen, and maternal grandparents, Richard and Iona Hatfield. She is survived by her daughter, Tara M. Gumas and husband, James, of Altus, OK; one sister, Regina Ross and husband, Warren, of Altus; one brother, Floyd Allen, Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Altus, OK; six grandchildren, Jason, Hailey, Gabriel, Jolee, Joey and Titus; and several other nieces and family members.
