Samantha Lynn Wilson

Samantha Lynn Wilson, 35, Altus, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2011 at her home. Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home. Samantha Lynn Dobbins was born August 28, 1975 to Ronnie and Geneva (Kuykendall) Dobbins at Gainesville, Texas. She was in the 1992 Altus High School Graduating Class. She received her Associates of Arts Degree in Nursing from Western Oklahoma State College in 1999. She married Brian Wilson on May 18, 1999 at Hobart, Oklahoma. She was a registered nurse who worked at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Women’s Center for 10 years, then worked for Carter Home Health Care. She volunteered at Salvation Army retreats, loved kids, and enjoyed her career as a nurse. Samantha is preceded in death by one son, Jacob Ryan Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Brian, of the home; her parents, Ronnie and Geneva Dobbins of Altus, OK; one daughter, Shelby Lynn Wilson of the home; two sisters, Brenda Downing and husband, Robert, of Jacksonville, AL, and Cora Segura of Fort Worth, TX; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
