Sara Louisa Alcorta

Sara Louisa Alcorta, 73, Altus, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Ruben Ybarra officiating. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Sara Louisa Revilla was born to Victor and Hortencia (Gonzales) Revilla on February 5, 1945 in Edinburg, Texas. Sara and Jesse Alcorta were united in marriage on May 31, 1962 in Altus, Oklahoma. She worked as a homemaker to support her husband and children. Sara enjoyed dancing, shopping, and listening to music. She was a joyous person and loved being with her children and grandchildren more than anything.

Sara is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Juan Revilla.

She leaves behind her husband, Jesse, of the home; children, Patty Hernandez and husband, Luis, Betty Guerra and husband, Aurturo, Irene Felan and Timothy Alcorta; seven grandchildren, Ruben Garcia, Jessica Perez, John Leyton, David Leyton, Mark Anthony Centeno and wife, Claudia, Laura Luisa Garcia and husband, Juan, and Kalene Cassandra Noriega and husband, Raymundo; numerous great grandchildren; and her brothers and sisters, Victor Revilla, Jr., Amelia DeLarosa, Mary Coffman and husband, Deon, Dora Howell and husband, Bill, and Lupe Plata and husband, Roy.

The Alcorta family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 in the Kincannon Gathering Room.
