Sarah E. Winkler, 68, Altus, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Norman, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel with Rev. Margery VanOostrum officiating. Cremation and memorial services have been entrusted to Kincannon Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Sarah Elizabeth Crelia was born April 18, 1949 to Vernon and Lucy (Harvick) Crelia in Altus, Oklahoma. Sarah and John Winkler were united in marriage on March 25, 1965 in Altus, Oklahoma and she graduated from Altus High School with the Class of 1968. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church; the Kay Club; and was a volunteer during the annual Miss Altus Pageant. Sarah was a loving wife and proud grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will forever dwell in the hearts of her family and friends as a sweet, soft spoken and kind person who was always willing to give of herself.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, John Reed Winkler; two brothers, Dennis Crelia and LaBoyd Crelia; and her sister-in-law, Pat (Wheeler) Crelia.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, John of the home; daughter, Jill Moore and husband, Bryan; son, Rick Winkler; four grandchildren, Alex, Will and Sam Moore; and Lindsey Fargo and husband, Alex; two great grandchildren, Hazel and Clark Fargo; brother, Hub Crelia; brother-in-law, Keith Winkler and wife, Vicki; sisters-in-law, Mary Crelia and Susan Winkler; nieces, Michelle Belton, Lee Ann Crelia and Kay Crelia; and nephews, Jeff Crelia and wife, Amy; Jim Crelia and wife, Molly; Chris Crelia; several special cousins and many friends.
