Sherri Coppage-Byer, 69, Altus, passed away, Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Kincannon Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Kincannon Funeral Home.
Sherri Louise Coppage was born January 31, 1946 in Altus, Oklahoma to Leo and Muriel (Hollaman) Coppage. She attended and graduated from Altus High School in 1965. Sherri worked in the Physical Therapy Department at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for several years and later worked as a pharmacy technician. Sherri was a member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ. Sherri enjoyed traveling, playing cards, listening to music, and gardening. She loved being with family and friends.
Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis Parker and a niece, April Coppage. She is survived by her husband, Larry, of the home; two daughters, Robin Grange and husband, Vince, of Duke, OK, and Rachelle Holland and husband, Kevin, of Vernon, TX; four grandchildren, Kale Akers, Sydney Desjarlais, Johna Akers and Tandy Grange; one brother, Hal Coppage and wife, Linda; and two nieces, Tabitha Ledbetter and husband, David, and their three children, Tyson, Kaden and Sawyer, and Tonya Ware and her husband, Todd, and their two children, Destiny and Emelie VonRaesfeld.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
