Shilo Timothy Newsom

Shilo Timothy Newsom, 22, Roosevelt, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the home of Otis and Donna Pelt. Take the Headrick exit off of Highway 62 and travel 1 1/4 miles east of Headrick. It will be a yellow house on the east side of the road. The family will be having a bonfire and dinner and ask that you bring a chair and a jacket. Cremation services are under the care of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Shilo was born on May 14, 1993 in Ogden, Utah to Shilo O. and Stephanie (Porthouse) Newsom. He attended Snyder schools and was currently employed as a Janitorial Supervisor at Moonlight Maintenance. He was of the Christian faith. He loved animals and considered being a veterinarian. He also enjoyed the outdoors, bonfires, video games, his cats and dogs and cooking meals for his family.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Lorenzo and Evelyn Pelt and Louis and Lucille Wedgeworth, and his great grandmother, Sharah Fuchs.

Survivors include his parents, Donnie and Stephanie Cain; grandparents, Otis and Donna Pelt; three brothers, Bobby, Brian and Otto Newsom; and a sister, Parthena Newsom.
